Perry participated in two events at the State Track and Field Meet in Des Moines yesterday.  Owen Myers made his return appearance in the 400M Hurdle.  He performed slightly better this year than last.  The junior finished in 19th place of 24 competitors.  The Jayettes raced in the 1600 Distance Medley.  Perry finished next to last in 23rd place.  All five athletes are juniors or younger and will have a chance to qualify for next year’s State Meet.  Perry has no one competing in the final day of the meet.
