Registration is still open for the golf fundraiser with the Greene County Medical Center Foundation.

The four-person best ball tournament will take place Friday, June 7th with a 9am shotgun start at the Jefferson Community Golf Course. Greene County Medical Center Foundation Director Nancy Houska says the proceeds from the golf outing goes back to the foundation for equipment purchases, along with other programs and health care services at the medical center. She points out that the foundation has been able to purchase the once rented equipment that has supported the pain clinic when it opened in 2022. Houska notes they plan to use funds for capital projects and scholarships for graduating seniors who are looking to enter a career in the medical field. She adds that a portion will also go back to Jefferson Matters for next year’s Bell Tower Festival.
