Arrest: Wayne Baker, age 69, 1309 Otley Ave, Perry was taken into custody and charged with driving under suspension.
Accident:

Unit 1 2008 silver Infiniti EX3 registered to and driven by Leslie Annette Heckman Mayhugh, 28736 Porspect Ave, Perry.

Unit 2 red 2015 Chevrolet Tahoo registered to and driven by Kayla Michelle Brown, 2509 1st Ave, Perry.

Unit 2 was stopped at the stop sign heading west in the 2600 block of North St when unit 1 struck her driver rear bumper with her passenger side front bumper. Total estimated damages $5000. Citation issued to driver of unit 1 for failure to stop in assured clear distance.

May 14:

Arrest: Martin Torres Jr, age 32, 2732 Eastern Ave, Perry was taken into custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 3rd offense, possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) 3rd offense, possession of a controlled substance (schedule iv/v)., and tax stamp violation.

Arrest: Kaylinn Delcie Rinner, age 32, 1 Ridgecrest Lane, Dallas Center, IA, was taken into custody and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 1st degree, possession of a controlled substance, (methamphetamine) 1st, 2nd, or 3rd offense

Arrest: Raeleen Kaye Vonk, age 64, 807 E 14th St N., Newton was taken into custody and charged with driving under suspension.

It should be noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
