Coach Carl Behne’s Rams improved to 11-2 with a fifth straight victory while the Panthers end the season with a 4-11 record. In the six team Region 7 the Rams are seeded number 3 and the Panthers were the six seed.

The Rams led 10-1 at halftime and the game ended by the 10 goal rule less than five minutes into the second half.
Gabe Ebersole is a four year starter in goal for the Rams, but was injured in the first half and limped off the field. Back up goalie Marcus Ball was not in uniform due to an ankle injury, making way for sophomore Teagen Chisholm to guard the net. “He came in with two two big saves, He played well and with confidence, especially not thinking there was any chance he would be playing goalie tonight”
Next up for the Rams is a Substate 7 semi-final vs. number two seed Humboldt at Humboldt at 7 p.m. on Monday, May 20.
