Friday, May 10th
6:27am: Andrew Tauke reported a Careless Driver on Hwy. 4 heading into Jefferson. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
4:03pm: The Dollar Tree Store requested an officer at 1200 North Elm Street for an Unruly Patron. The officer assisted in mediating the issue.
7:10pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at 300 American Ave. The facility was found to be secure.
10:24pm: Tim Gettler reported someone knocking on his door at 601 West Madison Street. They did this several times, but no one was there when he answered the door. The officer checked the area, but did not locate anyone.
10:37pm: Jeanise Pederson reported a Suspicious Vehicle at the Jefferson Airport. The officer did not locate the reported vehicle.
Saturday, May 11th
7:24am: April Olson reported catching a puppy in the 1000 Block of Westwood Drive. She met the officer at the Animal Holding Facility. The dog was placed inside.
10:27am: Bret Stuart reported he was approached by a male in the 300 Block of West Reed Street, who was not making any sense in the conversation. The officer was aware of the subject from past reports, and asked Stuart to call back if the subject came back.
11:05am: Dollar General reported a Trespasser at 104 North Locust Street. The female subject had been banned from shopping there. The officer learned she had not been served the notice yet. She was advised to leave and she cannot return.
8:19pm: Kashia Tuel reported Loud Music in the 500 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer spoke to nearby juveniles and they advised they would not turn the music back on.
8:38pm: Peter McCullough reported juveniles breaking glass bottles in his alley in the 500 Block of West State Street. The officer made the juveniles apologize to him and clean up the mess they made.
10:32pm: Carlan Brown advised of two subjects possibly breaking into a storage unit in the 300 Block of West McKinley Street. The officer located the subjects, who had keys to the unit.
Sunday, May 12th
1:58am: Junior Lopez reported a vehicle with loud exhaust near Pinet and Adams Street. The vehicle was not located by the officer.
10:41am: Deb Dennhardt reported a Stray Dog in the 100 Block of Ram Drive. The dog had returned home as the officer arrived in the area. The officer gave the owner a Verbal Warning.
12:32pm: Kathryn Batton spoke to an officer in connection to a Civil Issue with a former renter. The officer advised her to contact an attorney.
2:47pm: Shelby McBride reported the Theft of her checkbook from 100 West Vest Street.
7:30pm: Dispatch advised of numerous 911 Hang Up Calls from 801 West State Street. The officer checked the address and found out they were Accidental Dials.
8:19pm: The GCMC reported a Cat Bite patient in the ER. The officer learned the subject was attempting to help a stray cat when she was bitten. The cat ran away and could not be located.
Monday, May 13th
3:10pm: Amand Brewster spoke with an officer about a possible Harassment. The officer is investigating.
6:45pm: The Wild Rose Casino reported a possible Stolen Vehicle from 777 Wild Rose Lane. The surveillance video showed the vehicle had been repossessed from the parking lot.
8:18pm: Ray Hansen reported a motorcycle driving at a high rate of speed heading to Jefferson from Hwy. 4 North. The officer sat up in the north part of town, but the motorcycle did not come to Jefferson.
10:19pm: A Traffic Stop near 220th and Elm Streets resulted in Melody Gamble of Swea City being cited for, “No Valid DL.”
