Tonight is the final opportunity to see the spring musical performance at Paton-Churdan School.
Director Shannon Hobbs says the musical “Out of the Woods” by Stephen Murray is about a group of campers who are lost in the woods and don’t have cell phones. The campers meet some interesting creatures on their way to find home again. Hobbs points out there are 18 students involved that are 7th through 12th grades and they have been rehearsing since the end of February.
“It was a real challenge getting everybody at practices. They are so involved in so many things, not only at Paton-Churdan but also at Greene County. So it’s been a lot of piecing together to get this to work. But they’re having a lot of fun.”
Hobbs adds the performance is enjoyable for people of any age. Tickets are $5 each and are available at the door at the P-C auditorium. The show begins at 7pm and the doors open at 6:30pm.
