Arrest: Karla Isabel Ruano Mejia, age 18, 708 4th St., Perry was taken into custody and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 1st offense.

Arrest: A 15 years of age female from Perry was taken into custody in the 1800 block of 18th St., and charged with possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) 1st offense.
Officers responded to the 500 block of 1st Ave, Perry on a report of shoplifting. Estimated loss of $25. Case under investigation.
Officers responded to the 1700 block of 4th St on a domestic dispute between a mother and son. Situation was calmed. No charges.

Arrest: Hannah Marie Ladehoff, age 21, 809 10th St, Perry was arrested on a Dallas County warrant for failure to appear, original charge interference with official acts.
Officers received a complaint of harassment in the 400 block of 2nd St. Case under investigation.

May 7:

Arrest: A 16 years of age male from Perry was taken into custody in the 1200 block of 18th St and charged with assault simple.

Arrest: Dakota Wylie Armstrong, age 30, 1715 Vine, Perry was arrested on a Dallas County warrant, Perry’s original charge of criminal mischief.

Accident:
Unit 1, black Kia Sorento registered to and driven by Jean Marie Compere, 1527 Gordon Aves, Lehigh Acres, Florida.
Unit2 Entry doorway to Dollar Tree, 628 1st Ave., Perry.

Driver of unit 1 advised while parking in the parking lot at the Dollar Tree his foot slipped and hit the gas pedal and he struck the building. No one was injured. Total estimated damages $15,500.

May 8:

Arrest: Kyle Patrick Lingner, 1113 W Summerside Rd, Phoenix, Arizona was arrested on a Guthrie County warrant for failure to appear, original charge operating while intoxicated 2nd offense, a Dallas County warrant for probation violation, a Sarpy County Nebraska warrant for possession of a controlled substance (2 counts), fugitive from justice, provide false information to a law enforcement officer, ineligible to carry a weapon, and interference with official acts with a weapon.

Accident::
Unit 1 Silver 2002 Dodge Caravan van registered to Richard Lee Hurley, 407 9th St S, Grand Junction, driven by Chloe Ann Hurley, 407 9th St S, Grand Junction, lowa.
Unit 2 was a legally parked beige 2012 Toyota Camary registered to Dina Estela Sanchez Santacruz, 1820 Otley, Perry.
Unit 1 struck unit 2. No other details at time of this release.

It should be noted that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
