Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls soocer are both back in action tonight when the boys take on Muscatine at home and the girls take on Gilbert on the road. The boys come in at 10-4 in their match while the girls come in at 9-3.

The Little Hawkeye Conference champion boys were able to get a number 1 seed in their Class 3A Substate 5 bracket and were able to secure a bye in the process. They will have some time off before playing the winner of Atlantic/Winterset on Monday, May 20th. If they win that, they would play in the substate championship against either Newton or Pella on Wednesday, May 22nd.

The girls are the top seed in their 2A Region 4 bracket. They will be playing the winner of Denison-Schleswig or Carroll on Tuesday, May 21st in Grimes. If they win, they would play in their championship game on Thursday, May 23rd.

Both programs will have their games begin at 7 pm, as they should be good tune ups before postseason play get going soon.
