A student committee at Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School was selected as a finalist for a conference later this year.

According to ADM, their Black & Register News Staff has been recognized by the Iowa High School Press Association to be a finalist for All-Iowa News Team of the Year. According to the school, over 1,000 entries were selected between March 10, 2023 and March 15, 2024 that were then critiqued by a panel of judges. 

With ADM’s news team being a finalist, they will be attending the IHSPA Conference on October 24th for a chance to be named the All-Iowa News Team of the Year. The full list of students involved with their piece are below.
