A vehicle crashed into a local business in Perry Tuesday evening.

Perry Police Chief Eric Vaughn tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the department responded to a collision at the Dollar Tree in town at 6:20pm Tuesday. Vaughn notes that the driver of a 2011 Kia Sorento pulled into the parking lot and accidentally hit the accelerator instead of the brake, crashing into the building. Vaughn emphasizes that the crash was not intentional. 

He says that the driver was not impaired, but was cited for no valid drivers license. Vaughn details that there were no injuries to the driver, shoppers, or employees. Raccoon Valley Radio will provide more information as it becomes available.
