In a tightly fought and contested battle, the West Central Valley Wildcat girls soccer team fell to the Kuemper Catholic Knights yesterday. The Wildcats hosted the Knights, and the action was in the Knights favor in the first half, as the Knights scored one unanswered goal before going into the half time break. Coming back from the break, the Wildcats would come out with a fire, scoring a goal of their own in response to the Knights. However, unfortunately for the Wildcats, the Knights managed to score one more goal in the second half, securing a 2-1 victory over the Wildcats in a tightly fought battle.
Both Wildcat soccer teams prepare for action tonight as the Wildcats host the Treynor Cardinals with the girls beginning at 5:30, and the boys to follow at 7PM.
