The Casey Public Library has several fun events planned for the month.

The library will have an adult coloring class from 1-3pm and a kids quiet library challenge from 4-6pm on Wednesday. On Friday they will have a children’s guess the book character activity, and on Saturday they will have a Mother’s Day craft from 10-11am. On Monday’s, the library will have stories and after school sacks from 4-4:30pm.

The Guthrie County Iowa State University Extension and Outreach will be in the library May 15th at 4pm, and then there will be a free book Friday from noon to 6pm on May 17th. On Saturday May 18th, there will be a plant propagation exchange from 9am to 1pm. For the last day of school for Adair – Casey / Guthrie Center, they will also have a party to celebrate starting summer from 2-3pm.
