Two Juniors from the Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Golf team discuss the areas of improvement for them ahead of the Raccoon River Conference Championships today.
Juniors Annelise Kreifels and Hattie Lande are apart of a great group of young women on the Tigers golf team, which currently sits at 17-4 overall (14-4 in the Raccoon River Conference). ADM has won all four of there home meets with some road victories in Ackworth, Woodward, and Perry. Lande talks about the improvement she’s made with her skills on the course.
“I think I’ve grown throughout the course with my driving skills and putting skills and try and like get my score lower and lower each time.”
Kreifels says her mindset has made a difference.
“Overall I think my mindset as well and the overall confidence of golf. Golf is a really hard sport to have confidence in yourself and I think it’s really hard to think like of yourself as a good player, but I think that’s improved over the season.”
ADM will swing into action this morning at 9am at the Coldwater Golf Links in Ames for the RRC Championships.
