The Perry Chamber of Commerce held their annual dinner on April 30th and a local hospital was recognized.

The Dallas County Hospital & Family Medicine Clinics was awarded the 2024 Spirit of Perry Business of the Year Award for exemplifying great health practices in the community, specifically with new service lines to accommodate more patients, according to Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti. Dallas County Hospital’s Director of Marketing & Foundation Tom Harmsen describes how essential local healthcare places are to residents.

“We’re an essential part, local healthcares are essential in our communities and the timeliness that’s needed with health care, you want to address those needs right away.”

The Dallas County Hospital is celebrating 70 years of service in 2024 and held a gala back on April 19th to recognize all the incredible work that is done.
