The Greene County Fine Arts Department is inviting everyone to its showcase event this Sunday.

The Fine Arts Festival will be held at the Greene County High School auditorium at 2pm on Sunday. High School Co-Speech Coach Darren Jackson says this event was created to allow the students that competed in large group and individual speech to perform their pieces one final time for the community.

There are 11 acts that are scheduled to perform, featuring the Critic’s Choice Award winner from the All-State Large Group Festival in short film, “Very Stellar” with Nathan Ausberger, Jack Hansen, Gavin Vander Linden, Bill Wright, and Daniel Strawn. Two other performances will be from the All-State Individual Festival with Vander Linden’s review of “Rogue I” and Maggie Mikkelsen’s review of “The Murder of Mr. Wickham.”
