Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School is continuing to work on programs in order to maintain a healthy environment.

ADM Principal Lee Griebel tells Raccoon Valley Radio that the high school started a “radical reset” a few years ago where they examined the biggest need to address. After compiling data, Griebel reveals that reading and writing were among the main areas. The school zeroed in on those areas, which Griebel refers to as a “WIG.”

“A Wildly Important Goal. With that WIG, we all focus on that, all of our teachers, not just reading teachers, but all teachers within our building focus on that WIG.”

Griebel illustrates that the school analyzes the data, finds ways to intervene, and creates programs to help students with those necessary skills. He claims that ADM will continue to use these measures to help students reach their full potential.
