Stuart Town Clean Up begins tomorrow.
Residents of Stuart will be able to bring in items to be disposed of and drop them off at the Stuart Street Maintenance Yard at 220 South Fremont Street, though incoming weather may change plans. Items can be dropped off from 10am to 6pm tomorrow, and 8am to 3pm Saturday. Items that will be accepted for no charge include trash, batteries, metal and appliances such as washers, dryers, freezers and refrigerators, etc.
Some items will be accepted, but will have a charge due before unloading the items, a list of prices for those items can be found in this story online. There are also items that will not be accepted, which include tires, paint, hazardous waste and recyclable materials. When bringing items in, it is asked that individuals enter from the west entrance behind Dwyer Auto.
LCD/LED/Plasma TV’s – $20 fee
CRT TV’s and monitors – $25 fee
Consoles and rear projection TV’s – $35 fee
