Dallas Center – Grimes boys and girls track and field will have multiple individual athletes and relay teams participating in the upcoming Drake Relays in Des Moines.

Individual athletes that will be participating on their own include Maddie Schmitz, Piper Messerly, Elias Arbuckle, AJ Angus, and Eli Rupp. They also will be having various relay teams as well which will feature more athletes from both teams.

DCG has had some solid results from various teams and athletes in the last few years, and will be hoping to duplicate that the next few days. Weather conditions are expected to be adventurous tomorrow, Friday, and Saturday, and it will be interesting to see how it plays out.

The event will be happening from Drake University in Des Moines. Raccoon Valley Radio’s Doug Rieder will be providing updates from the event, as he will be taking you where the action is in the coming days.
