The Panorama School District is readying for the end of the 2023-24 school year.
Superintendent Kasey Huebner says that there are many events coming up signaling the end of the year. He tells Raccoon Valley Radio how they’re preparing.
“It’s that time of year where we start planning for the end of the year. Seniors graduation, awards night, so we’ve got a team here that is actively preparing for those nights, then making sure all the ducks are in a row. So we’ve got our seniors last day is May 8th, and graduation is May 12th on Mother’s Day. So, not a better gift to a mom than watching a senior get to graduate from high school. So it’s going to be a really busy month here, but it’s going to be a great month as we wind down the school year.”
Huebner adds that Awards Night/Baccalaureate will begin at 6pm on May 8th and that graduation will start at 12:30pm May 12th. He adds that other important dates to note will be no school Friday for district professional development, the fiscal year 2025 budget adoption hearing on April 29th and the next regular School Board meeting, which will be May 13th.
