The Greene County Historical Society is hosting a program to highlight National Poetry Month in April.
On Sunday there will be a poetry program at 2pm at the Greene County Historical Museum. Local poets are invited to recite their original poems or anyone who has ties to Greene County can also participate and share their work. Some of the individuals who will be featured include Bryan Helmus, Darrell Pettit, and Clay Ross, among others. Anyone who is interested in presenting their poems can contact Tori Riley at 515-370-3087 to reserve a spot or folks can also show up that day.
Sunday’s program is free and open to the public with refreshments served. The program is co-sponsored with the Community Players of Greene County.
