The Perry boys’ golf tournament on Saturday in windy and cold conditions turned into an 18 hole triangular with the host school not playing. ADM shot 307 with Gibert at 320 and Greene County 363. Ram coach Kyle Kinne told Raccoon Valley Radio the two teams nicknamed Tigers are among the top four teams in Class 3A at this point of the season.
The Rams were led by senior Jack Hansen, their season long leader. Hansen shot 76 on the Perry Country Club Course, good for a second place individual finish on a card back tie-breaker. The other Rams that had scores counted on Saturday wre senior Nathan Behne 91, sophomore Nathan Towers 95, and junior Noah Hinote 101.
Next on the schedule for the Greene County boys are back-to-back tournaments this Thursday and Friday, weather permitting. Thursday is scheduled for the Woodland Hills Golf Course in Des Moines and Friday is at Dayton’s Oak Park Golf Course.
