The Guthrie County Board of Supervisors met in regular session Tuesday.
The Board approved a liquor license renewal for Twin Vines LLC, accepted the donation of “The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates” by Matthew J. Trewhella from Mary Meritt and approved the cover letter for the Emergency Medical Services Request for Proposal. They then entered a recess until 10am, when they entered into a public hearing on the fiscal year 2024-25 budget.
Auditor Dani Fink explained the numbers of the budget for those present, and the Board ended the public hearing after answering a few questions, then approved a resolution for the adoption and certification of taxes for the fiscal year beginning July 1st, 2024 and ending June 30th, 2025. They then tabled a decision on the fiscal year 2024-25 budget appropriations.
