The Bluejays were in Newton Thursday night for a Track meet.  The competition was stiff with 14 schools in attendance.  The Bluejays would struggle in most events.  They would finish tied for 12th with 12 points.  Owen Myers would continue his dominance in the 400M Hurdle.  The junior won his 5th straight appearance in the event and had one of his better times of the season Thursday at 56.86.

Next week will be a busy week with three meets scheduled for the Bluejays.

The Jayettes took 5th place in a recent meet in Webster City finishing with 68 points.  The top performer for Perry was Lily Myers who took 1st in the 1500M, 1st 3000M, and 3rd in the 4ooM.  Perry also did well in the 800 Medley Relay finishing in 2nd.

The Jayettes return to action Tuesday in Adel.
