Many of today’s scheduled outdoor activities are dependent on the weather, including Greene County High School soccer. Coach Maribel Hernandez girls are scheduled to host Central Iowa United at 5:30 p.m. at Linduska Field in Jefferson. CIU is a combination of schools based at West Marshall in State Center. Coach Carl Behne’s boys are set to go to Urbandale tonight to face Des Moines Christian.

The girls from Greene County are 0-5 and have scored just one g0al to this point of the season. CIU is 2-5 so far.

The Greene County boys are a 5-0 record and are ranked fifth in Class 2A. A normally strong DMC program is having an off year with just one win versus six losses. The Rams have outscored their five opponents 39-7.
