9:42am: Travis Dawson 29 of Jefferson was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
12:37pm: A deputy assisted with cattle out on U Avenue near 250th Street.
1:01pm: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 900 block of Main Street, Scranton.
2:38pm: A deputy investigated a report of a funnel cloud North of 140th Street on D Avenue. No Funnel cloud was located in Greene County.
2:57pm: Jason Smits 41 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for possession of a controlled substance 1st offense, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping premises or vehicle for controlled substance violation.
3:53pm: A deputy investigated a parking complaint in the 900 block of Main Street, Scranton.
4:18pm: A deputy investigated a parking complaint in the 700 block of Walnut Street, Scranton.
4:39pm: A deputy investigated suspicious activity on 220th Street near 222nd Street.
4:44pmL The Sheriff, a deputy, Jefferson Fire Department, and Greene County Ambulance responded to a single vehicle rollover accident in the 1400 block of Jordan Avenue. Allen Case lost control of a 2000 Mercury Mountaineer and rolled into the North ditch. The estimated damage to the vehicle is 10,000 dollars.
5:09pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 1900 block of R Avenue.
Wednesday, April 17th
5:52am: A deputy assisted with a medical issue in the 2400 block of Sherwood Avenue.
7:59am: A deputy investigated a dog running at large complaint in the 700 block of 220th Street.
8:07am: A deputy assisted with horses out in the 1700 block of J Avenue.
8:49am: A deputy removed debris from the roadway on 220th Street near H Avenue.
12:50pm: Jay Wenger 34 of Scranton was booked into the jail for failure to appear.
2:46pm: A deputy investigated a phone scam in the 300 block of 9th Street, Grand Junction.
4:47pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check on 220th Street near R Avenue.
Thursday, April 18th
1:42am: A deputy assisted the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Office with trying to locate an overdue motorist.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
