The City of Adel is encouraging residents to sort out unwanted items to be picked up on Saturday for the City-Wide Spring Cleanup.

The city announces that Ankeny Sanitation will be coming through Adel beginning at 7am to collect any items that are no longer needed. The city asks to place the items on the curbs and that there will be a $15 charge to purchase an appliance sticker in order for those items to be picked up. 

According to the city, liquids, car batteries, concrete, or propane gas cylinders will not be accepted. Once the items are picked up on Saturday, they will be transported to the South Dallas County Landfill. For any questions, contact Adel City Hall at (515)-993-4525.
