The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Boys Track & Field team competed in Norwalk on Monday.
The Tigers ran hard as they picked up a sixth place finish as a team. Starting with individual events, ADM’s Senior Talan Guile placed third in the 100 meter dash (11.85), Junior Jon Hatchitt was fourth in the 200 meters (24.08), and Freshman Reid Kluesner and Sophomore Joshua Randol tied for eighth place in the 400 meter hurdles (1:12.19).
For the relays, ADM finished seventh in the 4×100 meters, fifth in the 4×200, eighth in the 4×400, fourth in the 4×800, seventh in the 800 medley, eighth in the 1600 medley, and fourth in the 4×110 meter shuttle hurdle relay.
In the field events, Junior Corbin Reed placed third in the long jump (19-08.00), Junior Kyler Chapman tied for first in the high jump (6-00) and Junior Will Grasty tied for third (5-10). The shot put saw Junior Lucas Farber (42-03.75) and Senior Caleb Coghlan (42-01.25) went seven-eight, and Sophomore Nick Subbert (131-11.25) was fifth in the discus, with Sophomore Devin Gelhaar (122-07.75) in seventh.
The Tigers resume action this afternoon in Newton, starting at 4:30pm.
