The first high school boys’ soccer rankings are out and the undefeated Greene County Rams are ranked fifth in Class 2A. Coach Carl Behne’s team is 5-0, but was weathered out on Tuesday when they were supposed to play Winterset on Earlham’s artificial turf field. That action has been cancelled. The Rams have outscored their first five opponents 39-7, but haven’t played since last week with the next scheduled match set for tomorrow in Urbandale at 1-6 Des Moines Christian School.

The Greene County girls were postponed on Tuesday in Jefferson vs. Van Meter. School officials told Raccoon Valley Radio they would be looking for a possible makeup date. Coach Maribel Hernandez’ team is is 0-5 and is scheduled to host 2-5 Central Iowa United based at West Marshall in State Center at Linduska Field in Jefferson tomorrow night.
