The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Girls Track & Field team add another first place finish on the season in the Bondurant-Farrar Meet.
The Tigers tallied a total of 168 points over second place Pella and third place North Polk. To begin in the relays, ADM won the 4×100 (50.61) and the 4×100 meter shuttle hurdle relay (1:07.37). The Tigers were second in the 4×400, 4×800, the 800 medley relay, and the 1600 medley relay, and fourth in the 4×200.
For individual events, Junior Jada Grove won the 100 meter dash running 12.94 seconds, and the 200 meters at 26.33. Junior Madi James won the 400 meter hurdles (1:07.11) with Freshman Addy Bjork finishing fourth (1:11.29) and Sophomore Elise Coghlan in sixth (1:12.28). Freshman Allie Eggleston was fifth in the 1500 meters (5:16), and Senior Paige Mattes captured fourth in the 3000 meters (11:56.34).
In the field events, Junior Calli Seehase (16-05) placed second in the long jump and Senior Jordis Ichelson (15-07.50) was fourth, and Freshman Zuri Moss was fourth (4-08) in the high jump. In the shot put, Junior Kennedy Stanford came in second (36-11) and Sophomore Lauren Hagedorn won the discus (115-02).
ADM was supposed to be compete at Dallas Center-Grimes yesterday, but the meet was canceled due to weather. The Tigers will be back in action tomorrow in Newton.
