The public is invited to help an organization in Jefferson continue to support one of the amenities in town.

The Friends of the Jefferson Library are hosting the annual three-day Spring Used Book Sale from Thursday through Saturday. Items during the fundraiser range from $0.25 to $2 and it takes place in the basement of the library during business hours.

Items that are for sale include books for all ages with several genres, including romance, mystery, western, science fiction, fantasy, classics, and inspirational fiction, among others. Books are in small and large print, along with a good selection of children, middle school and teen books. Additionally, there are DVDs, books and CDs, jigsaw puzzles and board games to choose from.

The Friends organization will use the proceeds from this fundraiser to purchase equipment, reading material and other items for the library.
