The Perry Girls Soccer team competed in the Newton Classic Tournament over the weekend.

The Jayettes lost their first game to the Newton Cardinals then went on to defeat the Benton Bobcats on Saturday 4-2. Perry scored their most goals in a game so far this season as they had three goals against Atlantic on April 8th.

After splitting the games, the Jayettes are 2-5 on the season and will play their first opponent inside the Heart of Iowa Conference, Central Iowa United on Wednesday. The game will be at West Marshall High School at 7pm.
