Dallas Center – Grimes boys soccer had games over the weekend over at Waterloo West, and the Mustangs were able to find victories in both of their contests, winning 3-0 over Waterloo West and 3-1 against Cedar Falls. DCG is able to improve to 5-2 on the season.

The Mustangs were able to put together a major first half against Waterloo West as senior Tate McDermott was able to score two goals and senior Ben Jackson was able to tally a goal as well as grab an assist as well. DCG was able to grab 14 shots on goal in the match.

McDermott was able to keep his strong numbers going against Cedar Falls as DCG was able to put up 16 shots on goal and play the majority of the match on offense.

The Mustangs will have more matches coming up this week as they continue to build a very good postseason resume in the month of April.
