Greene County played Kuemper Catholic at the Breda Golf Course in girls’ high school golf on Friday in outstanding weather conditions with the Knights winning 200-213. It was the second time in four days the Rams played on Breda’s course and coach Heath Telleen said the Rams played a great round of golf that resulted in the team shooting nearly 20 strokes better than Tuesday vs. Carroll. “We are going to do some great things this season,” Telleen added.

Greene County sophomore Maya Telleen shot 50 and tied for the second best score, but placed third on the card back tie-breaker. Other scores for the Rams were 52 by senior Hallie Monthei, 55 for freshman Taylor Johnston, and 56 by junior Maggie Mikkelsen.

The Knights Elsa Tiefenthaler was meet medalist at 42.
