A wrestler, from the Raccoon River team, had an astonishing performance propelling her to a competition in Florida.

Montana Mitchell, who represents Adel-DeSoto-Minburn, recently competed at the Twin Rivers National Duels capturing second place and garnering Gold All American. Prior to that, Mitchell took third at the Amateur Athletic Union High School State Contest. This is her second time receiving a Gold All American Medal at Twin Rivers.

Mitchell’s accomplishment qualified her a trip to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to wrestle for Team Iowa at the Disney Scholastic Duals June 20th-26th. The family is trying to raise money for Mitchell to go on the trip and has setup an account for donations. To help donate for Mitchell, click here.
