A representative from the Perry Public Library reveals the theme for National Library Week.
Adult Services Librarian Mindy Farmer says the celebratory week started on April 7th and runs through the 13th, and the theme this year is “Ready, Set, Library.” She tells Raccoon Valley Radio the reason behind the American Library Association choosing this theme.
“We can always come to the library to really connect with people, learn new skills, and focus on what matters most.”
Farmer adds that during the week, there are new book selections, ongoing programs, plus many services available to people. For more information about the services or to learn more about National Library Week, contact the Perry Public Library at (515)-465-3569.
