Greene County had its golf teams on two courses Tuesday. The girls played a make up match vs. Carroll High at the Breda Golf Course while the boys took on Webster City on the road, also in make up action.

Carroll won 210-231 and the Tigers’ Delaney Schurke was meet medalist for the nine holes with a round of 43. Greene County’s Maya Telleen was runner-up medalist at 49. The other scores for the Rams that were used in the team total were 58 from Maggie Mikkelsen, 59 by Hallie Monthei, and 65 for Alivia Cornell. Coach Heath Telleen told Raccoon Valley Radio he was happy with how the girls played on the road. He added they’ll be back at the Breda Golf Course on Friday vs. Kuemper Catholic, so the girls will look to improve their scores.

Greene County lost to the Lynx 159-187. The Rams were led by Jack Hansen with a 45, followed by Nathan Behne at 46, and 48 apiece from Nathan Towers and Broc Stream. Coach Kinne pointed to difficulty putting as an issue on Tuesday.
