The Adel-DeSoto-Minburn Soccer teams lost to Gilbert Monday evening.
The girls played in Gilbert as they fell by a score of 2-0. Both of the goals scored for the Gilbert Tigers were in the second period. The loss marks for the fourth for ADM this season as Gilbert has won three of the last four games in their matchups.
For the boys, they suffered their first loss of the season as Gilbert won 3-0. Gilbert scored one goal in the first period, followed by two in the second. Senior Jackson Johnson had a goal, Senior Isaac Weary had an assist, and it was Junior Goalie Matthew Weber who racked up five saves for Gilbert.
The boys will be back on the field on Friday as they travel to Dallas Center-Grimes High School (7pm start), while the girls will host two games on Saturday against North Scott at 9am and then Bishop Heelan at 12:30pm.
The girls are 1-4 overall (0-2 Raccoon River Conference), while the boys are 5-1 overall (1-1 RRC).
