The Dallas County Foundation recently announced the recipients of this year’s grant awards. 

According to the foundation, 52 applications were submitted with about $411,778 requested in funds. The Dallas County Foundation awarded 33 of the projects in the amount of $166,339. 

Some of the awardees were given to the Perry Little League, Perry Baseball Club, Perry Community School District, Friends of Hotel Pattee, Perry Youth Football, the Dallas County Hospital Foundation, the City of Minburn, Adel Historical Museum front door replacement, an activated graphic mural in Adel, and the Bouton Trail Head. 

The non-profit organization also gave out its funds from Grow Greene County Gaming Corporation of $53,500 to the Dallas County Fair Association, the Dexter Fire Department, the City of Dexter, the City of Bouton and the City of Adel. 

An awards reception will be held on Tuesday, April 23rd at the Granger Community Center, 2200 Walnut Street, from 5-6pm.
