The Panthers have dominated the series between the two girls’ teams while the Rams have controlled on the boys’ side. The Greene County girls are 0-2 and have not won against the Panthers since the program began in 2018. Morgan Crees of the Panthers has scored 12 goals for her team, and Panorama has 29 goals to only 5 allowed en route to a 5-0 start.
Coach Carl Behne’s boys’ team is 3-0 with 23 goals scored to just four allowed vs. West Marshall (State Center) based Central Iowa United, Boone, and the Carroll Tigers. Two of the four goals allowed have been on penalty kicks, Senior Gesser Gutierres has scored 17 goals, tops among all players in all classes in Iowa boys’ high school soccer. Panorama is 1-2 and has been outscored 16-6.
