If you are looking for some entertainment this weekend, there are two final performances of live community theater in Jefferson.
The Community Players of Greene County are doing the production of “The Nerd” by Larry Shue and it is co-directed by Josh Tuel and Stephanie Hall. Tuel tells Raccoon Valley Radio the play is set in Terre Haute, Indiana and it’s about an architect that is struggling through life. Then a fellow military veteran shows up into his life and turns it upside down, and there is a twist that is unexpected. Tuel has an incentive for people to attend tonight and tomorrow afternoon’s performances.
“I’m really excited. We’re going to announce our fall production at the show, which is actually going to be, I think we have everything all worked out, it’s going to be a joint production between the community theater and the high school.”
Tonight’s show is 7pm and Sunday is the matinee at 2pm at the Greene County High School auditorium. Tickets are $10 per person and can be purchased at the door.
