Tonight a Caribbean-themed musical group will be performing at the Warren Cultural Center in Greenfield.

Tropical Steel has been performing as a steel drum band in the Des Moines area, and is directed by founder Stan Dahl. The group plays what they call “sweet island music,” specializing in calypso, soca, reggae and cha cha, along with some rock and roll and disco. Admission is $20 for adults and free for students that are high school aged and younger, with tickets available at the door.
