The Perry Parks and Recreation Department is allowing interested individuals to sign up for the summer swim team.

According to the department, the swim season will take place from May 28th through July 13th for kids ages 5-18 years old. Parks & Rec Office Manager Jean Dowd, who also coaches Perry’s High School swim team tells Raccoon Valley Radio that there will be in-person suit fitting on April 27th from 9am-noon and encourages participants to stop by to try them on.

“I’ll have sizing suits here, and if they don’t know what size to order, they can come try some on then, and suits and caps, they can all order online.”

Dowd mentions that team suits can be purchased online from Elsmore Swim Shop, elsmoreswim.com/collections/perry-swim-team. The cost to participate is $80 for the first swimmer in the family, followed by $60 for any additional swimmer. Registration is good through May 28th.
