Drought conditions in the Raccoon Valley Radio area remain the same as they were last week.

After some rain earlier in the week, Dallas, Greene and Guthrie Counties are still in moderate drought conditions. According to the National Weather Service, Jefferson has already seen more precipitation this month than it usually does, recording 0.4 inches when they average 0.37. Guthrie Center is close to their average, reporting 0.35 inches of precipitation, just 0.1 inch short of their average 0.36 inches. No data has been reported for Perry.
