Next Monday the Jefferson Parks and Recreation Department has a fun youth activity to keep kids entertained during the no school day for the Greene County School District.

JPRD Assistant Director Nathan Kral says there will be laser tag happening on Monday in the Greene County Community Center. Youth that are in second and third grade will play from 10-11:30am and those in fourth through sixth grades are from 1:30-3pm. Kral talks about his favorite part of this event.

“Something different. I don’t know of many people who offer laser tag. You know you have your bigger cities who have places where they can play laser tag. I like to offer something different.”

The cost to participate is $10 for community center members and $15 for non-members. Limited space per time slot is available and the registration deadline is this Friday. Click the link below or call 515-386-3412 to sign up.
