The Greene County and Paton-Churdan track & field teams had meets scheduled for Tuesday weathered out. The P-C girls were to have been at a meet in Gowrie hosted by Southeast Valley and the boys were to have gone to Lake City for a South Central Calhoun meet. Activities Director Annie Smith told Raccoon Valley Radio no make up dates were immediately available.

The Rams were to have gone to the Kip Janvrin Panorama Coed Relays in Panora, but no make up date was announced immediately. The Rams will host their Early Bird Meet this Friday, April 5 starting at 4:30 p.m. at Linduska Field in Jefferson. Paton-Churdan and Greene County will have both their girls and boys’ teams in the field. Chad Morton is the Greene County boys’ head coach and he told Raccoon Valley Radio the Early Bird Meet has traveling trophies awarded to winning relay quartets.
