A new program in Jefferson will allow members from the public to tour several manufacturers and businesses at night.
The Economic Vitality Team with Jefferson Matters is hosting the “After Hours: Insiders” events with the first one being at American Athletic Incorporated/Spalding on April 30th from 5:30-7pm. AAI/Spalding General Manager Steve Kohl says their equipment is used around the world and spring is a busy time with the NCAA gymnastics and basketball championships, to the regional events with the USA Gymnastics Team, and the NBA playoffs.
There are a limited number of “insider” passes available for the walking tour on April 30th with the deadline to sign up of April 23rd. The cost to attend is $10 per person and you will get to have an exclusive tour of the facility, see behind the scenes of the AAI gymnastics equipment and the Spalding basketball hoops. The tour is from 5:30-6:30pm, and then “insiders” will also enjoy refreshments from The Centennial and CHiRP Coffee, along with photo opportunities with some of the equipment from 6:30-7pm.
