The Greene County Medical Center hosted its annual employee recognition and service awards ceremony on Wednesday.
The main award was the Van Zelderen Excellence Award and the 2023 recipient was Traci Wiggins with Materials Management. This honor is given to an employee, who is also nominated by an employee, and who exemplifies the medical center’s PRIDE values, including Patient-Centered Care, Respect, Integrity, Dedication and Empathy to enhance a patient’s experience. There were seven other nominees and their names can be found below.
The other part of the event was recognizing those employees that hit service milestones. Twenty-one employees were honored, including two individuals that were highlighted for 35 years of service. Those individuals were Lori Herrick and Lori Rasmussen.
