The new administration building for the Dallas County Supervisors is set to open in the fall with the board receiving a construction update on Tuesday.

Along with the construction update, the board will gather a contingency update as well as review a pay application approval. Besides the administration building, other items on the agenda being considered for approval include a child abuse prevention proclamation and pinwheel/lighting placement request, a Greene County shared public safety radio tower 28E agreement, resolution to award a bid for the Road P46 Paving project, a resolution abating mobile home taxes, and a capital projects budgeting workshop to review the Cmar notice of intent.

The board will also set a public hearing for fiscal year 2025 and hold board appointments before adjourning. In addition, the board will have a trustees meeting for the drainage district, receiving and filing the engineer’s report, and finalizing a date and time for a public hearing for another drainage project. The meeting will take place on Tuesday morning at 9am at the board of supervisors meeting room, 902 Court Street, in Adel.
