A solar eclipse will be happening on April 8th, and the Adel Public Library is hosting a prep family program tomorrow.
The library states that the program will allow families to participate through various activities plus be properly informed about the eclipse the following week. Patron Services Manager Amy Puck details some special themes that coincide with the program.
“We are putting together STEM activities and crafts to help teach kids about the solar eclipse. We are also giving out free pairs of solar eclipse eyeglasses while supplies last.”
Puck says that participants do not need to register ahead of time, but she implores parents/guardians to accompany any child that is eight-years-old or younger. The program will be at the Adel Library from 9:30-11:30am tomorrow.
