Coach Chad Morton had his Greene County Rams at the Winterset Husky Relays for boys on Friday. The Rams were twelfth among 14 teams varying in size from classes 1A, 2A, and 3A. ADM won the event with 163 points, followed by North Polk (Alleman) and Underwood at 76. The Rams scored 23 points.
The highest Greene County finish came in the sprint medley relay where Trey Schilling, Nick Stream, Nathan Behne, and Drew Wolterman were third in 1:38.16. Isaac Carman was fourth in the discus throw at 136′ 6″ and Lane Fields cleared 5′ 8″in the high jump, also good for fourth place. A pair of Greene County relays were sixth including the 4 x 200 meter relay in 1:37.29 with Camden Strennen, Aden Bardole, Nick Stream, and Fields. The distance medley relay was also sixth with Schilling, Behne, Broc Stream, and Wolterman in 4:01.37.
